Executive Summary

Joe Lively, Managing Partner, Information Technology and Software Development
Mr. Lively has worked as a programming technician in the field of software and web-development for over 15 years.  Joe earned his degree at Oregon State University in Management Information Systems and Multimedia Design.  He has worked as a consultant for several schools and companies including: Oregon State University, Oregon Health Sciences University, Portland State, Southern Oregon State, JELD-WEN, Association of Millwork Distributors, and several national community colleges.  Many of his web based projects involved online testing and certification at the college and industry level. Below is a summery of some of the projects that are applicable to the project scope:

  • Project-Online Testing System: Designed, implemented and supported online based testing system for OHSU nursing program. Included creating media and testing for 8 different college courses and providing a method for nursing students to access and take exams at a distance.  The current system supports over 5500 students who have taken 35,000 exams with over 1 million questions.
  • Project-Dynamic Certification System: Created video based training for a national millwork company.  Using the latest web technology, video seminars were assembled to train employees at the different skills required to work in the millwork industry.  Trainings were accessed via a secure website where material was viewed and exams were taken by trainees.  Based on automated grading of exams, award certificates were generated electronically and emailed to trainees.  This system supports over 1000 different member companies with about 45,000 trainees.
  • Project-Web based Marketing Program:  Partnered with publishing companies in southern Oregon to create several web-based marketing programs.  These programs allow two-way communication with members of organizations.  This program supports the secure sending of emails, newsletters and other communications that can be tracked and updated from a web based interface.

Brad Rice, Managing Partner, Marketing and Community Relations
Mr. Rice works extensively with schools and local business on the features and benefits of The Mall Pass Program. With a background in teaching and coaching since 1978, Mr. Rice has years of hands on experience with school fund raising programs.  He has been a teacher and coach in the Corvallis School District for twenty-eight years and understands the ins and outs of fund raising. He is also an experienced marketer as the inventor of the Break Away High Jump Strap, a safety sports item used in thousands of schools in the United States.

 
Jim Rydingsword, Administration and Customer Relations

Mr. Rydingsword is responsible for the administration and customer relations of The Pass group. In this role he works extensively with organizational development and contract administration. His background in executive management of human services program since 1981 combined with his experience in introducing complex information systems to small to large organizations provides the necessary leadership needed to work with our Pass Consultants and your organization. His customer relation skills were developed as a consultant to companies with Paradigm Innovations and as a member of National Boards of Directors in Human Services and through advocacy on human service issues in both State Legislatures and the U.S. Congress.
